Give your rabbits a route to explore, hide in and run through with our 6 inch rabbit tunnel. Choose from 1ft, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft, 6ft and 8ft lengths using the selector above. Every length on this page has the same diameter.

Check the internal diameter

The 6 inch tunnel measures 160mm externally and 135mm internally. The internal diameter is the space your rabbit moves through. This size suits many smaller and medium-sized rabbits, but check your rabbit’s individual body size and allow enough room to move comfortably through the tunnel.

Need more internal space? Our 8 inch rabbit tunnel has a 170mm internal diameter and comes in 1ft, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft and 6ft lengths.

Choose the length for your layout

• 1ft and 2ft: short sections with limited flexibility.
• 3ft, 4ft, 6ft and 8ft: longer sections that can flex into curves for different routes around your rabbit’s accommodation.

Choose the length to see its price. For routes between a hutch, house and run, measure the planned route before ordering and allow for any curves.

Strong corrugated HDPE

Our tunnels are made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a durable material manufactured for land drainage. The corrugated surface provides grip, while small perforations allow drainage. They can be used indoors or outdoors and rinsed clean with water.

They can also be buried in suitably well-draining ground. Plan for cleaning and inspection, and keep the complete enclosure secure. Perforations cannot prevent flooding if water collects in the surrounding ground.

Connect a hutch, house or run

Use the 6 inch Hutch/Run Connector to attach a tunnel to suitable accommodation. To join two 6 inch sections, choose our 6 inch removable tunnel connector. A 6 inch end cap closes an unused opening.

Accessories are sold separately. Choose connectors and end caps designed for the 6 inch diameter.

Cleaning and care

Rinse the tunnel with water and inspect it regularly. HDPE is strong but is not chew-proof: remove a tunnel if your rabbit starts eating the plastic or if it develops damaged or sharp edges. Prolonged direct sunlight can make plastic more brittle over time, so inspect outdoor tunnels and position them out of intense sunlight where practical.
