Pets Playstore Rabbit Tunnels are the perfect play accessory for your rabbits enclosure, they are a brilliant boredom breaker and are also a great way to link a hutch and run together. They are made from flexible, hard wearing, all weather plastic and can be used both indoors and outdoors. They are corrugated so that your pet can easily and comfortably grip the tunnel as they run through. They are also perforated with small air holes so that you never have to worry about either end becoming blocked. They are easily connected to a hutch or run with one of our connectors.
We stock two different diameter sized tunnels; the 6 inch/ 15 Centimetres and the 8 inch/ 20 Centimetres. The 6 inch diameter rabbit tunnels are perfect for most mini and small rabbits, with the 8 inch diameter being more suited towards larger breeds. The 6 inch diameter tunnels come in lengths ranging from 1ft – 8ft, whereas our 8 inch diameter tunnels are available in 1ft – 6ft lengths. Please be aware that the 1ft and 2ft length tunnels do have limited flexibility due to their length. When considering which diameter tunnel is perfect for your rabbit, please remember how small a rabbits natural tunnel size is, so both of our diameter varieties give them a lot more room to comfortably move around in.
As most people know rabbits in the wild will live in a rabbit burrow under the ground, this is for warmth and safety from predators. In order to get in and out of their burrows they will have a tunnel system, we believe our tunnels recreate a rabbits natural environment, especially when it is linked to a hutch. This recreates them running through a tunnel to be able to get to their safe place, in this case it would be their rabbit hutch or house. Our tunnels can also inhibit a rabbits natural urge to dig as they already have a tunnel there for them to go through, so they do not feel the need to dig one.
Rabbits can become bored very easily, which is why it is important to provide your rabbit with lots of toys and to make their living area as fun as possible for them. Tunnels are a great way to make your rabbits home more fun and interesting, they are recommended by the RSPCA as a great toy to help enrichment. Especially if you link it with one of our rabbit houses or rabbit castles. Giving your rabbit more things which will keep them stimulated and can help to stop destructive behaviour.

They can be connected to the hutch and run by using our hutch/ run connector. These slot into the grooves of the tunnel and bolt onto the hutch or run in order to secure it in place. Please note that connectors are sold separately. You can also connect two lengths of tunnels together if you wish to give your rabbit even more room to race through by purchasing one of our tunnel connectors.
