Our 100% Natural Timothy Hay is grown from a specialist seed mixture to produce a naturally high-fibre hay that is ideal for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets.
Each bag contains approximately 13kg of Timothy hay, giving you an excellent supply of quality feeding hay at an affordable price. The hay is packed into a large sealed bag, making it easier to handle and helping to keep it compact and fresh until opened.
Good-quality hay should form the majority of a rabbit’s diet and should be available at all times. The RSPCA recommends that around 85% of a rabbit’s diet should consist of hay and fresh grass, while the Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund also recommends unlimited access to good-quality feeding hay or grass.
Hay provides the fibre rabbits need to support a healthy digestive system and also encourages the natural chewing behaviour that helps wear down their continuously growing teeth.

Timothy hay is a popular choice for rabbits because of its naturally high fibre content and coarse texture. Regular chewing and eating of grass hay is an important part of maintaining good dental and digestive health.
The British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) recommends that the bulk of a rabbit’s diet consists of grass or good-quality meadow or Timothy hay, with hay available at all times.

Fresh feeding hay should be available to rabbits at all times and should make up the majority of their diet. Always provide fresh drinking water alongside hay and follow appropriate feeding guidance for your pet.
Store hay somewhere cool, dry and well ventilated, away from damp and direct sunlight. Once opened, check the hay regularly and remove any hay that becomes damp, mouldy or contaminated.
